Art is the expression of what you feel at the moment. The art I really like is French Impressionism, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Matisse, …I like Modern Art, Picasso. I think two people could look at a painting and both of them get the same emotional imprint. I think it’s more [an] emotional thing than [an] esthetic thing where you actually look at it and say, ‘O.K!’’’

"Bicycle patrol, see that’s a bike, going through the park, the green is the park, this is the waterfall that’s in MacArthur Park, it kind of shoots up in the air. That’s a sunset setting behind it. This is Rampart, Rampart means like a Rampart, this is like our symbol of a castle. I called it the Composition in Green, Brown, and Yellow." [more]
